Join us in Maryland for a great week of summer camp and fun. We are excited to announce that we are going to be hosting a camp at Garrison Forest School in Owings Mills this summer. This camp is open to girls ages 6-17 with half-day option from 9-12 daily for ages 6-9. Campers will learn individual stick skills, positional play, team concepts, and will scrimmage daily. Join us for an unforgettable week of lacrosse training and fun!

About Our Coaches

Britt Poist

Britt Poist is a current member of the League Operations Team for the United Women’s Lacrosse League (UWLX), which gives post-collegiate lacrosse players the first-ever opportunity to play at the professional level. Poist entered her name in the 2017 draft, with hopes of playing for her hometown team, the Baltimore Ride. She has been featured in Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse Magazine for both her playing and coaching accomplishments.

Poist is currently sponsored by OT Sports Industries, Stylin’ Strings, and Head Wrapz. Professionally, she designs custom uniforms and equipment for sports teams. She specializes in women’s apparel and custom dyed lacrosse heads. In her spare time, she volunteers for ReLax Collections, a non-profit that collects and redistributes lacrosse equipment to those in need.

As a player, Poist was a member of the US Women’s National Team from 2010 – 2012 and was sponsored by Harrow Sports from 2012 – 2013. In 2012, she was one of five Americans chosen to play for the World Team in London, where she garnered a Game MVP Award.

A 2011 graduate of the University of Maryland, she earned a degree in History. As a starter for all three years of her career as a Terrapin, Poist garnered multiple accolades including:

    • NCAA DI National Champion 2010

    • 3 NCAA DI Final Four Appearances 2009, 2010, & 2011

    • NCAA Final Four All-Tournament Team 2009

    • ACC Champion Regular Season and All-Tournament Champions 2009, 2010, & 2011

    • Team Groundball Leader 2010 & 2011

    • North-South Senior All-Star Game 2011

She started her collegiate lacrosse career at the University of Louisville, where she was named to the Division I All-Rookie Team and led the nation in caused turnovers. Throughout college, she volunteered for Fellowship of Christian Athletes as a Huddle Leader and Camp Counselor. Additionally, she has coached club teams and at camps throughout the country.

In 2011, at the age of 22, she became one of the youngest head coaches in NCAA history when she agreed to build the inaugural program at McKendree University in Lebanon, Illinois. In 2014, she became the Head Coach at Lindenwood University-Belleville and helped the team to their first win in program history. During her collegiate coaching career, she coached 2 NCAA All-Freshman Team, 9 All-Conference, and 8 Academic All-Conference Award Winners.

Most recently, Poist was the Head Coach of the Eastside Catholic Varsity Girls Lacrosse Team. In the 2016 Season she led the Crusaders to their first ever Washington State Championship, Snoqualmie Conference Championship, and USLacrosse National Ranking. That team broke multiple State Scoring records, highlighted by 272 Goals during this 16-0 Season. She coached 1 State Tournament MVP, 4 All-Conference, 4 All-State, 1 All-American, and 1 Academic All-American Award Winners. Eastside finished the 2016 season ranked #9 in the USLacrosse West Region.

Camp Details

Check in/out: Day Campers check in daily at 9am. Check out daily at 3pm. (check out for half day campers is 12pm)

Age & Ability: Day camp is open to ages 7-17 of all ability levels. Half-Day camp is open to ages 6-9.

Meals Provided: Campers are to bring their own lunch.
