About Our Coaches
Head Lacrosse Coach at Newton North High School
Bussy Adam was one of the greatest players in Boston State College history, leading the Warriors to a 42-18 record (.700) and an ECAC Division II-III tournament berth in three of his four seasons. The Newton native was named a Colonial Division Lacrosse League All-Star three times, while racking up 186 career points as a midfielder and attackman to rank second on the Boston State all-time points list. He finished second in school annals with 106 assists and was sixth with 80 career goals as well. He capped his outstanding playing career in 1979 with 74 points, including a then school-record 34 assists and became the third player in school history to be selected to the North/South Senior National All-Star game were he was honored as the MVP of the game.
Following his playing career, Adam went on to coach at Newton North High School, where he has been since 1987, compiling an impressive 287-73 mark, while winning 13 Bay State League championships, five Eastern Massachusetts titles and three Massachusetts State crowns. He has been named the Bay State League Coach of the Year five times and was tabbed as The Boston Globe Coach of the Year in 1994.
His coaching prowess has taken him out of Massachusetts and North America with the opportunity to coach in the National High School All-Star game in Ohio in 1998 and a trip to Melbourne, Australia in 1995 to direct the USA 15 and under team. His selection to this year's Hall of Fame won't be his first as he was inducted into the Newton High School Hall of Fame in 2004.

GameBreaker does a really good job creating a fun and exciting environment for playing lacrosse. I\'ve never attended a camp where the instructors have been so informative and helpful in improving my lacrosse skills.
This is one of the best lacrosse camps I have ever attended. All the coaches were very engaged with the campers and wanted to see each one succeed. Highly recommend this camp.
My son was nervous to attend this camp since he has never played lacrosse before, but the staff did an amazing job with making him feel comfortable. This camp is really a judgement-free camp, open to all ages and ability levels. If your son/daughter is wanting to start a new sport, but is nervous they won\'t be \"good enough\" tell them not to worry because GameBreaker Camps has a spot for everyone.
