OVERVIEW

GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps is proud to return to Westport Connecticut, for action-packed girls’ summer lacrosse camps. Designed to enhance individual stick skills, positional techniques, and team concepts, the camp also features daily scrimmages to help players put their training into practice. Combining top-notch coaching, excellent facilities, and a fun, engaging atmosphere, this camp is an ideal opportunity for young athletes to improve their game and create lasting summer memories.

Amy AlvordClub Lacrosse Coach

Amy started her lacrosse career in Simsbury, CT where she broke school records for career and season goals scored. A 3x All-American midfielder at William Smith College, she helped bring the Herons to four NCAA finals.

In 2003 Amy moved to Hamburg, Germany to direct a new Women’s lacrosse program. Starting in ’06 the Hamburg Warriors won three back to back National Championship titles, and are now the largest program in continental Europe. Amy returned to the US in ’09, coaching Fairfield Ludlowe High School to the Division II State Championship, including coaching three All-state players.

In addition to coaching youth lacrosse and high school clinics during the off season at Sono Field House, Amy is also a Coach for the CT Grizzlies. Amy is very excited to return to direct the GameBreaker Westport summer lacrosse camps.

At GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps, every player can expect positional training through a well-rounded curriculum tailored to all ages and ability levels. The camp’s primary goal is to help young athletes improve in all aspects of their game. With a strong focus on individual skill development, campers will also engage in drills designed to enhance teamwork and game understanding.

DAILY SKILLS BREAKDOWN

Individual & Group Stick Work

Game-Based Learning

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Check in/out: All campers will check in daily at 8:30 AM. All campers will check out at 12:00 PM.

Age & Ability: Our day camp is open to girls ages 6-16. Players of all abilities and skill levels are welcome to join and participate.

Make sure campers bring all necessary lacrosse equipment, a refillable water bottle, & suggested items in the camp packing list. NO EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED
