About Our Coaches

Casey Powell

Casey Powell, recognized as one of the greatest players of all-time, will direct this camp.  Casey grew up in upstate New York, playing lacrosse with his brothers Ryan and Mike.  He went on to Syracuse University where he had one of the most remarkable collegiate careers of any lacrosse player.  He was named All-American all four years and was named NCAA Most Outstanding Player twice.  In 1996 he was recognized as the National Midfielder of the Year, and in 1998 he was named National Attackman of the Year.  He finished his college career for the Orangeman with 158 goals and 129 assists.

Casey then moved onto the pro ranks where he has excelled in both the MLL (outdoor) and NLL (indoor). He has been named MVP of each league and is the MLL career points leader. He currently plays for the Florida Launch of the MLL.

Casey has represented Team USA in the World Championships in 1998 and again as Team Captain in 2006.

He will be joined on staff by other MLL players, college and high school coaches, and NCAA players.

The coaches were great! I had so much fun playing lacrosse with a bunch of the friends I made. They always had something for us to do. I never felt like I was watching and waiting in line for my turn.

The GameBreaker Lacrosse camp we attended this summer was excellent. My son stayed overnight and he absolutely loved it. We hope our schedule matches up next year because he would love to come back.
