Why You Need to Attend a Girls Lacrosse and Leadership Camp in 2017
Part of what makes GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps the national leader in lacrosse instruction and education is our attention to the entire athlete.
By its very nature, lacrosse is a physically taxing sport, and that also means it’ll test you mentally every single day. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff includes some of the best minds in the sport, and they bring a ton of experience that they’re eager to share.
This happens across the country in the 20-plus states that offer girls summer lacrosse camps, but there are two camps in particular that are special from any other we offer on a yearly basis.
These are our Lacrosse and Leadership camps, which will be held at two different locations this summer. One will be in Glenwood Springs, Colorado from July 30th to August 3rd, and the other will be Lakeville, Connecticut from July 16th to July 20th.
What exactly is going to be covered at these camps, though?
We’ve noticed a void in the growing lacrosse community, and these offerings were specifically designed to address them. Players are sometimes spreading their time playing for multiple teams, leading to what appears to be a lack of leadership and team-building development.
The setting for these camps is perfect because they allow us to work on both the physical and mental aspects of the sport. Our purpose is to help campers learn to be part of something that’s bigger than themselves.
Our top-notch instruction that’s provided at every GameBreaker Camp will be there, and will be accompanied by off-field camp activities that are designed to promote teamwork and teach leadership skills.
By the time camp is over, we want those in attendance to not only be better lacrosse players, but to also recognize how they can be more valuable to their team, school and community as leaders.
This is most common as an overnight camp, and players of all skill levels from the ages of 10-17 are welcome to join us for what will surely be a unique experience that will be unforgettable! If you do stay with us for a few days, the typical schedule will begin at 7:00am and finishing around 8:00 or 9:00pm.
We’re anxious to have you join us for one of our two Lacrosse and Leadership Camps. We guarantee that you’ll come out the other side with a new perspective on how to approach the sport moving forward. And it will not only help you win on the field, it’ll help you win off the field!
