Here Are the Best 2021 Lacrosse Day Camps in New Jersey

The best way to take your lacrosse game to the next level is to join us for a GameBreaker Lax Camp this summer. We’ve been doing this for a long time, so you could say we’ve got the whole process down – since opening our doors in 2001, more than 65,000 campers have watched their skills improve in a fun and positive environment, and we can’t wait to welcome even more this upcoming summer.

This is the perfect opportunity to get something on the calendar since nearly everybody is itching to get out of their house — looking at the same four walls for the majority of the past year because of COVID-19 hasn’t been fun!

Improving on the field is one of the main goals we have for our campers, but growth as a lacrosse player goes beyond that. Some of the game’s most respected college coaches and players from around the country join us each summer to not only provide top-tier instruction but also stress the importance of being a good sport and leader. Even if playing college or professional lacrosse isn’t in your future, the lessons you learn on the field can be applied to every-day situations for the rest of your life. All our coaches can help with this because everyone is Double-Goal Certified by the Positive Coaching Alliance.

Some of the skills you’ll hone at lax camp this summer include defense (team and individual), ground balls, dodging, shooting, fast breaks, triangle offense, stick skills, clears, man up and man down, and face-off and wing play.

If you’re a lacrosse player and either live in the metro New York area — or you’re driving distance from it — then this post is for you. In addition to the laundry list of lax camps available in Connecticut and Massachusetts this summer, we’ve also got a number available for boys and girls in the great state of New Jersey. Here are some quick details you need to know before researching more and deciding to sign up for an experience of a lifetime.

Ramapo College Boys/Girls Lacrosse Camp

This particular camp takes place in Mahwah, New Jersey from June 28th through July 1st. There will be options available for both boys and girls, although the types of camps that’ll be offered will be limited to day and half-day camps.

Lawrenceville School Boys Lacrosse Camp

Lawrenceville, New Jersey is home to a GameBreaker Lacrosse Camp for boys from August 2nd through August 5th this summer. This is a unique offering for 2021 because it’s the only boys’ lacrosse camp in New Jersey that has extended day and overnight camps available for those who’d like to participate.

Moorestown Boys/Girls Lacrosse Camp

Between July 19th and July 22nd, we’ll be welcoming both boys and girls to Moorestown, New Jersey to spend a few days improving their on-field skills before next season. Similar to the Ramapo College Camp above, this offering is available as both a day camp and a half-day camp.

Verona Boys Lacrosse Camp

This location is only available for boys’ lax players as a day camp and half-day camp option. If this works into your summer plans from a geographical perspective, we’ll be running it between July 12th and July 15th.

Hun School Girls Lacrosse Camp

Last, but most certainly not least, here’s the most unique lacrosse camp offering for girls’ lax players. In Princeton, New Jersey, we’ll be hosting extended day and overnight camps, as well as a shooting clinic between August 1st and August 5th.
