Top Virginia Lacrosse Camps to Attend in 2016

Top Virginia Lacrosse Camps

GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps are available across the country for lax players looking to improve on the field, but one of our most popular areas is the state of Virginia.

We have one option each available for boys and girls if you’re in the Virginia area and would like to join us for an unforgettable experience where you’ll not only improve your on-field skills, but to also have fun and meet some new friends!

Here are the camps we’re offering there this summer:

Episcopal High School Boys Lacrosse Camp in Alexandria, Virginia

For those who have access to this northern Virginia location, we’re proud to offer overnight and extended day lacrosse camp options for boys who join us at Episcopal High School in Alexandria from July 11 through July 14 this summer.

Scott Conklin is the head lacrosse coach at Episcopal and will be directing this camp. He was a two-time All-American and two-time First Team Ivy League attackman during his college days at Princeton and was a captain of his 1995 team. Conklin was also a member of the 1992 and 1994 National Championship teams and was named to the 1994 NCAA All-tournament team. Once his playing days were finished, he transitioned over to coaching and has been part of successful teams in both the college and high school ranks.

This particular location has air conditioned dorms, an all-you-can-eat dining hall and awesome athletic fields to train on. We will be focusing on individual skill work, along with team concepts, positional training and daily scrimmages.

Foxcroft School Girls Lacrosse Camp in Middleburg, Virginia

This girls GameBreaker Lax Camp offers overnight and extended day options in Middleburg from July 6 through July 9. Foxcroft School has a wonderful campus that includes spacious dorms, availability of nutritional and balanced meals in the dining hall and very well kempt athletic fields.

We’re happy to have Mary Cuddihy direct this Virginia Lacrosse Camp for us. She’s currently an assistant coach at George Mason University, but her roots are in Long Island. She earned All-American honors at Manhasset High School before becoming one of the top-rated goalies in the nation at Hofstra University. Outside of her time at George Mason, she has coaching experience at Bryant University, along with coaching numerous elite club teams and coaching in Europe.

Campers will participate in lacrosse training sessions that emphasize individual skill work in addition to team concepts and positional training.

If you’re going to be in the Virginia area this summer and would like to participate in a week-long lacrosse camp to help prepare for next year, these are the best options out there!
