Overview

GameBreaker is proud to return to St. Joseph High School for this Trumbull, Connecticyt girls lacrosse camp. This camp is open to girls ages 6-17 with half-day option from 9-12 daily for ages 6-9. Campers will learn individual stick skills, positional play, team concepts, and will scrimmage daily. We also hold many fun contests during the week for great prizes.  Join us for an unforgettable week of lacrosse and fun!


About Our Coaches

Kyra Ochwat

Kyra is a 2015 graduate from Quinnipiac University where she was a member of the Quinnipiac Women's Lacrosse team. Kyra earned honors as NEC Rookie of the Year and was a three time All Conference Player (MAAC & NEC). During her career at Quinnipiac, Kyra broke the all-time leading scorer record with 157 goals and the points record for both men and women with 215 career points. She was also a two time MAAC Scholar-Athlete recipient.

Kyra grew up in Long Island, NY, where she played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse at Farmingdale High School. During her time there, she won two state, three Long Island, and four Nassau County championships. Kyra was honored as a two time All County lacrosse player and two time All County basketball player. She has coached for the Long Island Yellow Jackets and Farmingdale Youth Lacrosse Club, as well as ran clinics at Quinnipiac University.

Kyra has had numerous experiences coaching girls lacrosse at the youth and high school level. She is currently the Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach at Weston High School along with grades K-4 with the Weston Lacrosse Club and is currently coaching rising eighth graders with Gold Coast lacrosse club.


Camp Details

Check in/out: Day Campers check in daily at 9am. Check out daily at 3pm. (check out for half day campers is 12pm)

Age & Ability: Day camp is open to ages 7-17 of all ability levels. Half-Day camp is open to ages 6-9.

Meals Provided: Campers are to bring their own lunch.

9:00 Campers arrive; Stretching and warm-up
9:15 First Session - Individual skill work
10:15 Lax Talk and All-Star Demos
10:30 Break
10:45 Positional Training
12:00 Lunch, Half-Day Campers depart
1:00 Second Session - Team Concepts
2:00 Team games
3:00 Full-Day Campers depart
