Is there ever a bad time to attend a summer lacrosse camp with GameBreaker this year? The answer to that question is absolutely not!

It doesn’t matter your age; all campers will receive the same benefits, some of which include the following:

  • Authentic GameBreaker Reversible Jersey
  • GameBreaker Lanyard, Sticker and Water Bottle
  • A Personal Evaluation
  • Daily Lacrosse Games
  • Raffles for Assorted Prizes
  • Prizes for MVP, Most Improved and Lax Player of the Week
  • Stick Tricks
  • Specialty Camps for Goalies, Face-Offs and Shooting

This is all awesome, but it’s understandable for any parent to be concerned about the skill level in which their child will be faced with upon coming to camp. We know you want them to be challenged, but also to be facing players that are around a similar skill level.

GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps are offered to lax players from ages 7 through 18. And there is no need to worry – our training programs are designed to accommodate players of all skill levels.

Basically, it doesn’t matter if you’re just beginning in the sport or you’re a top high school athlete with hopes of playing in college – we have a program that is adaptable to anyone. We have you fill out certain paperwork before check in so we can get an idea of your child’s skill level, but we also have three general divisions that we use to separate players:

  • Division I: Grades 9-12
  • Division II: Grades 6-8
  • Division III: Grades 3-5

To ensure that we can maximize improvement over the time we have your child joining us, we’ll group players into these three divisions based off age and what we’ve received in that paperwork beforehand, along with individual evaluations upon getting to camp.

Our goal is to have every lax player leave camp with improved skills, whether it’s shooting and defending, stick skills or something else. However, one of our biggest goals is to also have fun while doing it! There’s also a heavy focus on understanding team play and learning the concepts necessary to make their team better.

So, it’s completely natural to be concerned about when the right time is to send your son or daughter to summer lacrosse camp, but there truly is no bad time. What’s also helpful is the wide range of choices we have with regard to types of camps.

There are overnight and extended day camps, but also day camps and half-day camps depending on your summer schedule and what you’d like to try if you’re a first-timer. We can’t guarantee that you won’t be hooked after this summer, though.
