GameBreaker returns to Centennial Field for this Verona lacrosse camp. Top New Jersey high school coach Dave Giarrusso will direct the program, joined by other high school coaches and NCAA players. Join us this summer for a great week of lacrosse instruction and new lax friends!

About Our Coaches

Dave Giarrusso

Dave Giarrusso is the current Head Lacrosse Coach of Seton Hall Preparatory School, West Orange, New Jersey. Before that he was at the Pingry School where he helped them win their first Non Public B State Championship. A 1988 graduate of Hingham, MA. Dave was a four year starter, captain and team MVP. He played collegiately at the University of Vermont, where he was again a four year starter, captain and MVP. He began his coaching career at Saint Ignatius Prep in San Francisco, where he led the team to three straight California State championships and an undefeated season in 2002. He was voted Northern California coach of the year four times and Man of the Year for his effort in getting the sport sanctioned by the state. He was recently inducted into the Northern California lacrosse Hall of Fame. He is a current Board of Trustee member for the New Jersey Chapter of US Lacrosse. David is a History teacher and the head Freshman Football coach at Seton Hall Prep, and a lecturer for the Positive Coaching Alliance. He resides in Verona, NJ with his wife and three sons.

Matt Diglio

Matt Diglio is the new boys lacrosse coach at Verona High School. Prior to coming to Verona High School, Matt has coached at Pequannock High School Boy’s Lacrosse Coach as the team's defensive coordinator. He has also coached for the BBL Elite team. As a player, Matt played at Wayne Hills High School and collegiately at Montclair State University.

Camp Details

Check in/out: Day Campers check in daily at 9am. Check out daily at 3pm. (check out for half day campers is 12pm)

Age & Ability: Day camp is open to ages 7-17 of all ability levels. Half-Day camp is open to ages 6-9.

Meals Provided: Campers are to bring their own lunch.

9:15 First Session - Individual skill work
10:15 Lax Talk and All-Star Demos
10:30 Break
10:45 Positional Training
12:00 Lunch, Half-Day Campers depart
1:00 Second Session - Team Concepts
2:00 Team games
3:00 Full-Day Campers depart
