OVERVIEW

Prospect Park is a beautiful community park that features a variety of athletic facilities and amenities including a multi-purpose field, baseball and softball fields, and tennis courts. We’re excited to host the GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps at Prospect Park. Join us and improve your lacrosse skills this summer!

Camp is open to all ages and ability levels. Each camper will be assessed and grouped with campers of similar age and ability levels. Adjustments to the groups may be made throughout the week to provide campers with opportunities to train with and compete against different players. Drills, games, and scrimmages are designed to help each camper learn, improve, and have fun!

Coach Savannah Phillips is the Head Girls Lacrosse Coach at Green Mountain High School.

Phillips’ journey with Lacrosse started in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She continued playing Lacrosse at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. During her collegiate career, Phillips led her team to four Conference Championships and four NCAA Division II Final Four appearances.

Coach Phillips is excited to share her experience and love of the game at the GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps.

What to Expect

At GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps, every player can expect positional training through a well-rounded curriculum tailored to all ages and ability levels. The camp’s primary goal is to help young athletes improve in all aspects of their game. With a strong focus on individual skill development, campers will also engage in drills designed to enhance teamwork and game understanding.

Key features of the camp include a low camper-to-coach ratio for personalized attention, groupings based on age and skill level to ensure appropriate challenges, and a fun, energetic, and experienced coaching staff dedicated to creating a positive learning environment.

DAILY SKILLS BREAKDOWN

Individual & Group Stick Work

  • Engage in dynamic warm-ups to prepare for each session

  • Specialized stick routines involving targeted fundamental drills

Position Specific Training

  • Participate in drills tailored for attack, midfield, and defensive players, focusing on position-specific techniques and strategies

Situational Game Play

Game-Based Learning

  • Compete in scrimmages, camp championships, 6s style games and 7v7 games to test and showcase skills in a competitive yet supportive environment.
CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Full Day Campers: Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 3PM each day. (Bring a bagged lunch)

Half Day Campers: (*option for 5-8 year olds): Check in at 8:45AM Monday (9AM every other day). Campers should be picked up at 12PM each day.

Make sure campers bring all necessary lacrosse equipment (lacrosse stick, goggles, mouthguard, cleats/turf shoes, etc.), a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, lunch and snack.

Meals: Campers are to bring their own lunch to camp.
