OVERVIEW

GameBreaker Lacrosse is proud to return to Massachusetts for an action-packed girls’ summer lacrosse academy at BSU. Designed to enhance individual stick skills, positional techniques, and team concepts, the academy also features daily scrimmages to help players put their training into practice. With flexible options for both full-day and half-day campers, this program accommodates a variety of schedules. Combining top-notch coaching, excellent facilities, and a fun, engaging atmosphere, this academy is an ideal opportunity for young athletes to improve their game and create lasting summer memories.

Erica Adams
Erica AdamsHead Coach, Bridgewater State University

Erica Adams was named the head coach of the Bridgewater State University women’s lacrosse team in the fall of 2015. She is also the Athletics Operations Manager in the BSU Department of Athletics and Recreation.

Erica is a 2008 graduate of Nichols College where she earned a degree in Business Administration. While at Nichols, Erica competed on the varsity women’s lacrosse and women’s soccer teams as well as the Bison club ice hockey squad. She played four seasons on the lacrosse team from 2005 to 2008, including two as the Bison starting goaltender. Adams is currently third all-time in program history with 321 career saves.

Erica served as the head women’s lacrosse and women’s soccer coach at Pine Manor College from 2010 to 2011. She also spent time as an assistant women’s lacrosse coach at Mount Ida College (2012), Hendrix College (2013-2014) and most recently at Norwich University (2014-2015).

In nine seasons at the helm of the BSU women’s lacrosse program, Coach Adams has produced an overall record of 82-62 (.569) including a 43-20 (.683) mark against Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) opponents. The Bears captured the MASCAC Tournament championship and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2016.

During her tenure at Bridgewater State, Adams has coached 29 All-MASCAC players, five MASCAC Players of the Year (Lauren Geary, Melissa Renauld, Victoria McDonough, Emily Hiller, Kelsi Brennan) and two MASCAC Rookies of the Year (Elizabeth Ettridge, Nina Liquori).

Erica has served as the high school director, coach and recruiting coordinator for the Boston Aces club program in Plymouth. She has also played semi-professional women’s football since 2009. In 2015, Adams joined the Boston Renegades who have gone on to win the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) championhip five times (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023).

At GameBreaker Lacrosse Academy, every player can expect positional training through a well-rounded curriculum tailored to all ages and ability levels. The academy’s primary goal is to help young athletes improve in all aspects of their game. With a strong focus on individual skill development, campers will also engage in drills designed to enhance teamwork and game understanding.

Key features of the academy include a low camper-to-coach ratio for personalized attention, groupings based on age and skill level to ensure appropriate challenges, and a fun, energetic, and experienced coaching staff dedicated to creating a positive learning environment.

DAILY SKILLS BREAKDOWN

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT

Check in/out: All campers will check in daily at 9:00 AM. Full-day campers will check out at 4:00 PM, while half-day campers will check out at 12:00 PM.

Age & Ability: Our academy is open to girls ages 6-16, with the half-day option available for girls ages 6-9. Players of all abilities and skill levels are welcome to join and participate.

Meals: Campers are to bring their own lunch.

Make sure campers bring all necessary lacrosse equipment, a refillable water bottle, & suggested items in the camp packing list. NO EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED
