Illinois Summer Lax Training

Competitive Summer Environment

Each day combines structured drills with competitive gameplay. Athletes transition from skill development into live game situations where they apply coaching feedback in real time. This balance of instruction and competition supports steady progress throughout the week.

Campers participate in daily games and team challenges, with recognition given for effort, improvement, and performance.

Skill Development During the Week

Our Illinois youth lacrosse camps follow a professionally developed curriculum designed to build skills progressively over four days. Training sessions focus on technical improvement while reinforcing team concepts and situational awareness.

Players work on stick skills, shooting mechanics, dodging, ground balls, defensive positioning, clears, offensive systems such as triangle offense, and overall field awareness. Repetition and correction are built into every session to promote consistency and measurable improvement.

Coaching and Instructional Approach

Experienced camp directors and accomplished coaches lead our Illinois lacrosse camps. Staff may include professional lacrosse players, former high-level competitors, college coaches, and high school coaches with strong competitive backgrounds.

All coaches are Double-Goal Certified, reflecting a commitment to both athletic performance and character development. Instruction is hands-on and consistent throughout the week, with coaches actively engaged during drills and live play to reinforce technique, positioning, and decision-making.
