OVERVIEW
GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps is thrilled to return to The Hopkins School in New Haven, Connecticut, for an action-packed boys’ summer lacrosse camp. Designed to enhance individual stick skills, positional techniques, and team concepts, the camp also features daily scrimmages to help players put their training into practice. With flexible options for both full-day and half-day campers, this program accommodates a variety of schedules. Combining top-notch coaching, excellent facilities, and a fun, engaging atmosphere, this camp is an ideal opportunity for young athletes to improve their game and create lasting summer memories.
Camp Director
Jerome Austin is entering his seventh year as a part of the Adams State Athletic Family. The 2025 season will be his 7th as Head Coach of the Men’s Lacrosse Program.
In his six season at the helm, Austin has led his team to the RMAC Lacrosse Tournament, 5 of 6 years only missing 2020 due to Covid-19 canceling the season. During the 2024 season, Jerome was named RMAC Coach of the Year.
Before taking over at Adams State, Austin served as the head recruiter and defensive assistant for the University of Nevada Las Vegas Club Lacrosse team. The team finished 3-7 last season with wins against Nevada and UCLA in the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association.
Additionally, Austin was the coach for the Centennial High School team since 2014. In 2014 his team went 11-6 and were the top-ranked team in the state, winning the state championship with a 16-13 win against Faith Lutheran.
Austin also served as a coach for the Las Vegas Starz traveling team, helping develop college bound talent in the Western United States.
Austin’s son, Jacob, graduated from the program in 2022 and then went on to be an assistant coach for his dad in 2023.
Camp Director
Tim Allen is entering his first season as a part of the Adams State Athletic Family. Fall 2024 will be his first season as the Defense Coordinator and Goalie coach for the Men’s Lacrosse team.
Allen, a native of Denver, Colorado was a four-year member of the Adams State Lacrosse team as a Goalie. Upon graduating he spent one year as an assistant coach at Bear Creek HS in Lakewood, Colo.

At GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps, every player can expect positional training through a well-rounded curriculum tailored to all ages and ability levels. The camp’s primary goal is to help young athletes improve in all aspects of their game. With a strong focus on individual skill development, campers will also engage in drills designed to enhance teamwork and game understanding.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Check in/out: All campers will check in daily at 9:00 AM. Full-day campers will check out at 3:00 PM, while half-day campers will check out at 12:00 PM.
Age & Ability: Our day camp is open to boys ages 6-16, with the half-day option available for boys ages 6-9. Players of all abilities and skill levels are welcome to join and participate.
Meals: Campers are to bring their own lunch to camp.
Make sure campers bring all necessary lacrosse equipment, a refillable water bottle, & suggested items in the camp packing list. NO EQUIPMENT WILL BE PROVIDED
