Camp Director

Michael Pender
Michael PenderHead Boys Lacrosse Coach at Colonial High School
Michael serves as Camp Director with a strong commitment to developing well-rounded student-athletes in a positive and structured environment. A former collegiate club player at Bethune-Cookman University, Michael understands the dedication, discipline, and teamwork required to succeed at the next level.
Now entering their first year as a Head Coach at Colonial High School, Michael brings nine years of coaching experience across football, basketball & lacrosse. This multi-sport background allows them to teach athletic development in a balanced way, focusing on agility, coordination, confidence, and game awareness — skills that benefit athletes both on and off the lacrosse field.
The camp emphasizes fundamentals first. Players will learn proper technique, safe physical play, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a supportive and encouraging setting. While the pace is energetic and engaging, the priority is always skill development, character growth, and building confidence.
Above all, Michael is dedicated to creating a camp experience where athletes feel challenged, supported, and excited to grow — not just as lacrosse players, but as young leaders.
