Overview

GameBreaker returns to Avon Old Farms, Connecticut for this girls summer lacrosse camp. Avon boasts tremendous facilities including great dorm living, an all-you-can-eat dining hall and several fields (both grass and turf). Lacrosse campers will work on their individual stick skills and positional training, learn team concepts and scrimmage daily. Overnight and extended day camper options are offered at this CT lax camp. Join us this summer for a great week of lacrosse and new friends!


About Our Coaches

Rosa Riccobono

Rosa Riccobono is the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Elms College. In her first season at Elms, 2017, Riccobono led the Blazers to an undefeated New England Collegiate Conference record (7-0), the program’s first NECC Championship, and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. For her efforts, Riccobonno was honored as the 2018 NECC Coach of the Year.

Under Riccobono’s tutelage, Haley Richard was honored as the 2018 NECC Player of the Year and six Blazers earned All-NECC recognition.

Prior to her arrival at Elms, Riccobono was a four year member of the women's lacrosse program at Eastern Connecticut State University. While a student-athlete she was selected to serve on the NCAA Division III National Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. In addition, to representing the Little East Conference and New England Small Athletic Conference, she was also selected as the recipient of the SAAC Student-Athlete Shining Star Award at Eastern Connecticut.

After graduation Rosamaria started her coaching career as an assistant coach at Division III SUNY Purchase, while coaching at the lacrosse club Team 91 Tri-Sate, and working at Women's Sports Foundation as the Play IX assistant.


Camp Details

Check in/out: Overnight and Extended Day Campers check in at 12pm at the Brown Student Center on the first day and Check out at 12pm on the last day.

Age & Ability: Camp is open to ages 8-17 of all ability levels.

Meals Provided: Overnight campers- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner; Extended Day Campers- Lunch and Dinner

Evening Activities: After dinner, campers will be grouped up in teams and scrimmage against one another.

1st Day
12:00pm - Registration
1:00pm-2:00pm Orientation
2:00pm-4:30pm - Afternoon Lacrosse Session
4:30pm-5:00pm - Free Time
5:00pm-5:45pm - Dinner
6:00pm-9:00pm - Night Lacrosse Session/Pick up

2nd and 3rd Days
8:45am - Drop Off at Fields
9:00am-11:30am - Morning Lacrosse Session
11:30am-12:30pm - Lunch
12:30pm-1:30pm - Free Time
1:30pm-4:00pm - Afternoon Lacrosse Session
4:00pm-5:00pm - Free Time
5:00pm-5:45pm - Dinner
6:00pm-9:00pm - Night Lacrosse Session/Pick up

4th Day
8:45am - Drop Off
9:00am - 11:30am - Morning Lacrosse Session
12:00pm - Closing Ceremonies
12:15pm-1:15pm - Check Out
