About Our Coaches

Chelsea Rosiek

Chelsea Rosiek was announced as the St. Bonaventure University Women's Lacrosse Head Coach on Dec. 21, 2015.

Rosiek had been the head coach at Division II Chestnut Hill (Pa.) College since 2012, leading the Griffins to their first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) playoff berth in six years this past season. Under Rosiek's guidance, four members of the Griffins were named to the spring 2015 CACC All-Academic Team while Hunter Leckonby was selected as the conference Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Year. At least one Chestnut Hill player received all-conference accolades each season of Rosiek's tenure at the school.

No stranger to the Atlantic 10 Conference, Rosiek was a standout player while at Temple. A two-time All-Atlantic 10 performer for the Owls, she posted 26 goals and 29 assists as a senior in 2010 while leading the conference in assists per game (1.71). Her efforts earned her a spot on the 2010 All-Atlantic 10 First Team after a selection to the conference Second Team in 2008 as well as Atlantic 10 All-Tournament honors in 2008 and 2010. She finished her Temple career with 133 points (72 goals and 61 assists) and was also a member of the 2010 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Academic Honor Rolls. Rosiek graduated from Temple ranking high in several program statistical records including seventh all-time in career assists (61) as well as draw controls (96).

Rosiek also served as the Director of Operations at Ultimate Lacrosse in Princeton, N.J. Prior to her collegiate coaching experience, she guided her alma mater of Wissahickon High School in the Philadelphia area, leading the team to an 11-8 record in 2012 while also serving as an assistant for Haverford College.  Rosiek was an assistant coach at Wissahickon High School in 2011 while also directing the Trojans junior varsity squad and the Wisslax A-Team, a non-profit community based lacrosse program, in all aspects. She accrued additional coaching experience as a coach for Ultimate Goal. With Ultimate Goal's 2012 Team, Rosiek developed and prepared several high school student-athletes for national tournaments and college recruitment at the Division I, II, and III levels.
