Overview

Rhino Lacrosse is excited to return to the beautiful campus of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona for the 6th straight year!  All players will come away from the Rhino Lacrosse Academy with the necessary tools to compete in the game of lacrosse at a higher level. The world class coaching staff at the Rhino Lacrosse Academy includes current Division I collegiate players, college coaches, high school coaches and professional players all hand picked by Ryan Powell. All players will receive position specific training and will leave camp knowing all the important facets of the game from shooting and stick work to the tips, tricks and techniques of the pros. Each day of camp will not only include on field instruction, games and demonstrations but also positional talks, player-coach Q & A sessions, and much more! Rhino Lacrosse Academy is an exciting and rewarding experience for lacrosse players of all levels and abilities to improve their skills and confidence.

Camp Details



OVERNIGHT VS EXTENDED DAY CAMP

Overnight- Campers will be staying in the dorms at Northern Arizona University. All meals will be provided for overnight campers through the duration of the camp. (First provided meal will be dinner on Sunday, June 4th the last meal of camp will be breakfast on Thursday June, 8th)

Extended Day- Extended day campers will stay off site at the discretion of their guardians. Lunch and dinner will be included in camp tuition. (First provided meal will be dinner on Sunday, June 4th, the last meal of camp will be dinner on Wednesday, June 8th) Daily drop off for campers is 8:45am (except Sunday) and pick up will be 8:45pm each night.


Age & Ability: Camp is open to boys entering grades 5th – 12th of all ability levels.


Meals Provided: Overnight campers- Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner; Extended Day Campers- Lunch and Dinner


Evening Activities: After dinner, campers will be grouped up in teams and scrimmage against one another


DAILY SCHEDULE:

7am – Wake Up

7:30am-8:30am – Breakfast

8:45am – Attendance & head to fields (Extended daycampers arrive to camp)

9am-11:30am – Morning Session; Skill DevelopmentTraining

12pm-1pm – Lunch

2:15pm – Attendance & head to fields

2:30pm-4:30pm – Afternoon Session; Skill Development, Team Concepts, Positional Work, Competitions

5pm-6pm – Dinner

6:30pm – Attendance & head to fields

6:45pm -8:45pm – Evening Session; Team Concepts and Team Games (Extended day campers depart)

9pm-10:30pm – Supervised free time in dorms

11pm – Lights Out
