Clarissa Clarke Former Asst. Coach - Yale University

Clarissa Clarke is a former Yale University Assistant Coach. As a player and coach, Clarissa prides herself on providing a fun camp experience for all campers regardless of age or ability, and hiring some of the best college players and coaches in the game.  She is currently volunteering at Wesleyan University and Fairfield University.

Clarissa played collegiately for Yale, where she was the Team Captain and a Regional All-American. During her career there, Clarissa helped lead the squad to the NCAA Tournament. She also earned second team All-Ivy honors and ended her career fifth on Yale's career goals scored list with 114 goals. Clarissa's experience and infectious enthusiasm for teaching lacrosse makes her a great camp director.

Clarissa is also a Co-Director of a club lacrosse program in Connecticut, Nor'easter Lacrosse.  Nor'easter Lacrosse is in its third season, and throughout the last three years the program has helped develop players year round, giving them an opportunity to be seen and recruited by college lacrosse coaches.

NCAA Tournament experience is nothing new to Field, who earned four varsity letters as a member of the Princeton University lacrosse program.  As the starting goalkeeper for the Tigers, Field led the squad to the 2000 National Title game, a berth in the quarterfinals in 1999, and a tournament appearance in 1998.  Field was named First Team All-Ivy in 1997 and was selected to the North-South Senior All-Star game in 2000.

Thank you for time spent with my daughter during camp.  She really seemed to learn a lot at camp and enjoy her experience there.  She is very determined to make the needed corrections and work hard to achieve her goals in lacrosse.

I wanted to let you all know that I was very impressed with the caliber of your staff.  The level of instruction was excellent and their focus on teamwork and sportsmanship is something that we value greatly.  I will highly recommend your camp.

It was great to bond with other girls who love the same thing I do.  We had sooo much fun at camp.  The coaches were really good and taught us a lot of new things, plus the campus was awesome--right on the water!  Save me a spot next year.
