Former St. John's University (MN) Head Coach, Mark Hellenack will lead GameBreaker's Academy of Holy Angels camp this summer.Coach Hellenack has taken the Johnnies from a 5-8 season in 2003 to a 10–1 season in 2004 and 13-1 in 2005 with back to back UMLL Championships in 04 & 05 and a trip to the MDIA National Championships in 05. The Johnnies were ranking as high as #2 in 2005.
Over his 25 years of coaching and administration he started the boys youth and HS leagues in MN and founded the MN Chapters of US Lacrosse (MLA). In 1997 & 1998 he won back to back MN HS State Championships coaching Hopkins HS. While in MN he also formed the MN Chill U13, U15 and Lax Loons U17 select teams that represent MN in the Vail Colorado Shootout.
In November of 2004 Mark was inducted into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Before moving to MN in 1996, Mark founded the NJ Chapter of US Lacrosse and ran numerous clubs, leagues and tournaments including the Jersey shore LC, Garden State Game, War at the Shore and Gill Gibbs All-Star game. He played football (Offensive line) and lacrosse (crease attack) at Kean University in NJ. He also refereed HS lacrosse and was an assistant coach to the legendary (300 wins) Hawley Waterman at Kean from 84-87.
