Harvard’s Assistant Coach, Anthony Kelly will be directing the Florida Gulf Coast University camp this summer. A current member of the Los Angeles Riptide and New York Titans, Kelly is a 2004 graduate of Ohio State University, where he was a four-year starter for the Buckeyes before graduating with a degree in physical education.
At OSU, Kelly led the team in groundballs all four years while guiding the Buckeyes to a 2003 GWLL Championship and their first-ever NCAA appearance, as a senior captain in 2003. He was a preseason All-America selection in 2002 and finished all four years ranked among the national leaders in face-off winning percentage.
His professional playing career began in 2005 when he was signed by the Minnesota Swarm of the National Lacrosse League. Kelly was also drafted by the Los Angeles Riptide of Major League Lacrosse in the 2005 supplemental draft. In 2006 he was named by US Lacrosse Magazine as L.A.'s Newcomer of the Year. Still a member of the Riptide, Kelly played for the 2007 Western Conference Champions in the MLL World Championship game, where they were runners-up. Kelly is also a current active player on the New York Titans of the NLL.
